Marketing Plan (Strategic)
The number one reason for small business failure to meet objectives is lack of planning.
Often this is masked by symptoms such as “lack of time” or “wrong personnel” or “lack of vision”. In reality, these are all symptoms of inadequate planning.
The truth is, it doesn’t take much to plan. And it doesn’t take much to create and manage annual business planning tools like a marketing plan.
Business owners sometimes dismiss the idea of creating an annual business or marketing plan because they believe the cost associated with creating and managing them far outweighs the value.
The management team at Consulture understands the demands associated with running a small business. We make the process of utilizing Consulture’s marketing plan development solutions extremely easy.
The Plan
Consulture will develop a custom marketing plan with the following sections:
- Introduction
- Situational Analysis
- Marketing Analysis
- Competitive Analysis
- Marketing Strategy / “Go-to-Market” Strategy
- Price; Product; Place; and Promotion
- Budget
- Action Plan (implementation timeline)
- Marketing Management
- Commentary (interpretation)
The Process
The process starts with an interview. The interview is designed to help Consulture’s advisors understand exactly what type of marketing plan your organization requires depending on your goals. Through the process, advisors provide progress reports on the development of the marketing plan while continuing to work with key personnel for additional clarity where necessary.
Each business and marketing plan is different – with that said, Consulture will have at most two (2) interviews while requesting additional information (if needed) via phone or email. This type of process eliminates the need for extensive hand holding and provides business owners with an opportunity to get back to running their business while Consulture creates the marketing plan.
Deliver: The final deliverable is a living strategic marketing plan: a marketing plan that is aligned with your organization’s mission, vision and business objectives. Marketing plans ARE NOT created in a vacuum, they are an important part of your overall business plan.
Upon request, Consulture will help your organization manage the marketing plan implementation: from tactics and resource alignment to on-going updates and progress reports.
